WSU Internal Auditors are members of several professional organizations, including the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Association of College and University Auditors (ACUA), Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), and Society of Corporate Compliance & Ethics (SCCE). Internal Audit follows the IIA’s Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and its Code of Ethics as part of its charter.
